Maca Root

Maca (Lepidium meyenii), a small South American cousin of the turnip, is highly nourishing. It has at least 18 important amino acids, including L. lysine and L. arginine, as well as 6 sterols. The synergisms of its amino acid complex are indeed unique. It has been noted to improve energy, stamina and endurance. It has adaptogenic qualities that help regulate mood and reduce fatigue. For some, it’s super nourishing qualities are desired to improve both male & female fertility. Obviously, most of us will never live in the Andes mountains where we could grow Maca in our garden.
