Throat Soothe Tea
Sweet blend of moistening and soothing herbs brings comfort and rest as it supports healthy lungs and throat.
Marshmallow root, Wild Cherry bark, Fennel seed, Licorice root, Orange peel, Ginger rhizome, Lemon peel, Cinnamon bark.
Directions: Add 1 rounded tablespoon herbs to 2 cups cold water. Allow to sit 5-30 minutes. Heat to almost boiling. Let sit, covered for 15-30 minutes. Strain through a sieve into a large mug or glass jar. Naturally sweetened with licorice root, no additional sweetener necessary.
Caution: Licorice can cause retention of sodium and depletion of potassium and worsen high blood pressure. To avoid potassium depletion eat a diet high in potassium (leafy greens and green vegetables). Do NOT use with diuretics or other potassium depleting medication.
