When mixed with water the suspended slippery elm bark powder absorbs the water and becomes characteristically thick and mucilaginous (slimy). One teaspoon of Slippery Elm Compound makes 4 teaspoons of slimy goodness your throat and digestive tract will love.
Botanical Ingredients:
Slippery Elm bark powder, Licorice root, Fenugreek seed, Calendula flower, Orange peel, Ginger root, Cinnamon bark, Clove bud.
Other Ingredients:
Purified Water, Vegetable Glycerin, Organic Wild Flower Honey, Organic Grain and/or Cane Alcohol, Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Omega 3 Blend (oregano extractive, flaxseed extractive, plum extractive).
Suggested Use:
Shake vigorously before use. Mix 1 tsp. (5 ml) with 1/2-1 oz (15-30 ml) water or herbal tea. Stir well and let sit 1-5 min. to hydrate. As the suspended slippery elm absorbs water it will develop its naturally heavy consistency.
Take 3-4 times daily, or as needed.
